Search Engine Optimisation Services Specialist Clyde Thorburn Discusses What Is Search Engine Optimisation
What is this thing called search engine optimisation. I like to think of search engine optimisation as an art. It is actually an art form in the purest sense of the word. What I do as a search engine optimisation services specialist is to promote business websites or any website, for that matter, to the first page of the Google search engine only.
I first choose a keyword specific domain and then I will build a website and create the content including those specific keywords and keyword phrases. The next step in the search engine optimisation process is then to go about the process of creating unique links that point back to that website. These unique links pointing back to the website are called 'back links'.
Search engine optimisation is really as simple as that and in the same breath as complicated as that as well. There are no short cuts in search engine optimisation. This forms part of my marketing routine as a search engine optimisation services specialist that I discipline myself to do every day.
As you might not have a real clear vision on what to do when applying search engine optimisation techniques to your business website in order to market it, I will explain how to do it over the next few days, weeks, months, years through this posted information. I will also explain and point out the benefits of Veretekk which is a very powerful system to boost and help your search engine optimisation efforts.
I will also give information to you from people that are down in the internet marketing trenches everyday applying search engine optimisation techniques to market, advertise and promote their business websites on the internet. I am a professional search engine optimisation services specialist and this is my job. I do this every day for myself and for my clients.
I have learnt all my techniques and strategies form Veretekk and Tom Prendergast and all the other excellent SEO trainers in the Veretekk system. However, search engine optimisation and marketing, advertising, promoting and getting traffic to your website on the internet is going to require WORK from you. Tom Prendergast summed up WORK the best when he said and I quote "I can lead you to the door, but I cannot make you walk through that door". I am going to lead you to the door of search engine optimisation.
I will tell you exactly what I do as a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist to gain top positions on Google. I am going to show you examples of what I do and lead you through the process of SEO or search engine optimisation. I have learnt the art of search engine optimisation by subscribing to Veretekk and attending all the SEO training classes.
This involved and still involves me getting up at anytime of the day, night or morning to learn this profession. I have done this because I live in Johannesburg South Africa and the time zones are different to that in California America, where Veretekk is based and throughout America where most of the trainers reside and work from.
A word of caution and warning. You can sit in a Veretekk training day in and day out. If you don't take the leap of courage and decide to apply and use these search engine optimisation techniques for yourself first and then as an SEO services specialist, you are wasting your time here. You need to break your own ground. You have to take a chance and go out on a limb and put yourself 'on the line'.
Every time I place information on the internet I am liable for that information. What I mean here is that I want that information to be credible, ethical, and moral and to be the 'real thing' that works for me and for everybody else. Another very important art here from a search engine optimisation stand point, is that you want to be very original.
You cannot copy and paste your way to fame on the internet. You most certainly cannot do this from a search engine optimisation, website marketing, website promotion, website advertising, point of view. Why can't you do this? The Google search engine is about one thing and one thing only. Google is about good information if you want to maximise your search engine optimisation efforts.
Google is about good original 'content' that comes from you and is not copied or plagiarised from anybody else. I know many people who have tried to 'copy and paste' their way to the top of the search engines. It does not work. It will not help your search engine optimisation efforts. I repeat. It DOES NOT WORK! Built into the indexing system and algorithms of the Google search engine are mechanisms and technology that can identify this type of action immediately.
Let me give you an example to make the picture real clear for you. I heard of a person that was picking up the routine of how to practice search engine optimisation the effective, efficient and correct way. He went to post content at the article submission company on the internet known as 'Ezine Articles'.
He had copied and pasted an article from another source, exactly, as an exact duplicate without any changes, placed his name on it and submitted it to Ezine Articles on the internet. A few days later he received an email from the owner/manger of Ezine Articles informing this person that they had received the exact same article, word for word, before on the Ezine Articles submission website.
So he suspended this person's account with Ezine Articles and that person was not allowed to post to Ezine Articles ever again. This was a real time example and is no 'fly by night' theory. So they banned him from the system. So this is the reality that you are looking at if you want to become a good search engine optimisation SEO services specialist, promoting websites for other people.
Alternatively, to learn and then practice search engine optimisation for your self and your business website or personal website. When you build a website, you put the best relevant original information in that website that you are promoting. Google will reward you for your efforts and applying this correct way of promoting or advertising your website to receive traffic using ethical search engine optimisation techniques.
Conversely, you incorrectly and intentionally use the 'copy and paste' method as a search engine optimisation SEO specialist technique to achieve first page ranking in Google, then Google will identify that immediately and ban you. You will not get anywhere as a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist and your website will not be ranked anywhere near the top of the Google search engine if you try and 'copy and paste' your way in search engine optimisation.
An interesting test by one of the Veretekk SEO trainers was done on Veretekk. Many people miss the true power of Veretekk and the immensely powerful system they have in front of them for a measly $41.95 per month. In Veretekk you have over twenty three portals and the number keeps growing, which are websites that you can transform into the most powerful website promotion or website advertising search engine optimisation systems to get traffic on the internet.
Veretekk is a fantastic search engine optimisation tool. You have over twenty portals with each portal or website having five links on them. This gives you many links that you use to 'back link' and point to your business opportunity to promote, market and advertise. Back linking is a critical part of search engine optimisation. By taking full advantage of those links you can setup for yourself an enormous web of 'back links' pointing to your opportunity. What that will do for you through the process of natural organic search engine positioning will be beneficial to your business. I know this search engine optimisation technique works because this is how I get positioning on the Google Search Engine.
I don't use Google Ad words or 'Black Hat' search engine optimisation to promote and market my website or my clients' websites on the Google search engine. I use the process of organic positioning. As an example of the success I have had with Veretekk. At one stage I had the first 20 positions on the first two pages filled with my Veretekk affiliate site for the keywords and keyword phrase 'free high quality email leads'.
I used the basic keywords in my title tag, meta tag and content in each of the portals for that gold system and 'swarmed' that gold system of mine as well. The search engine optimisation 'swarming' technique used for Veretekk portals will be discussed at a later date. That is all I did to promote my Veretekk Affiliate portal.
This proves to you that you have the capability in the Veretekk system and portals or websites to place them on the first page of the Google search engine with ease. Remember, keywords in search engine optimisation are the foundation to success in SEO and achieving first page ranking in Google. Keywords used in the title of your website are critical to it being placed on the first page of Google.
The more effective your title is, from a keyword content standpoint and a search engine optimisation standpoint, in your Veretekk portals and obviously for any external business or personal website, will determine the category and the subsequent first page ranking that you will achieve in Google. I cannot emphasise enough the importance of keywords and keyword phrases in search engine optimisation.
Use your Veretekk system to 'Brand' yourself on the internet as a search engine optimisation services specialist or as an expert in whatever service you are offering. Make sure that you use your name, say your Christian name and surname, in your website and definitely in the title of your website. Also include it in the content within your website as well. This is a vital component of search engine optimisation.
The internet is all about YOU. It is about YOU creating unique back links pointing back to you and your website and business opportunity and services. Again, this is crucial to search engine optimisation effectiveness. People are more prone to do business with an individual than with a company. So you have to brand yourself as an individual on the internet and this takes consistent effort from you. This is not going to happen overnight. search engine optimisation takes TIME and consistent WORK.
Effective search engine optimisation takes consistent effort discipline and perseverance. So, the key is all about you. Take your Veretekk systems, go to all the training and learn how you can configure each portal and the links to take maximum advantage of the powerful search engine optimisation results that this will have for you and your own business outside Veretekk. You can mould the Veretekk portals/websites to suit you.
Ok, let's get to the basics and fundamentals of starting an effective search engine optimisation campaign in order to market, promote and advertise your business or personal website on the internet. You must firstly purchase a domain name. What is a domain? A domain is the name of your website. Access a company on the internet that sells domain names. They are cheap. You must use relevant focussed keywords in that domain name to be more effective from a search engine optimisation stand point.
Simply stated, you must ensure that the words you choose, to make the domain or title of your website, are the keywords and phrases that you will use to promote and market your website, when you eventually create posts. This is a critical step in the foundation of search engine optimisation to promote your website.
You will then use one of the search engine optimisation keyword selector tools to test whether these keywords and keyword phrases are actually used as search terms in the search engines. From a search engine optimisation standpoint you need to adjust these keyword selections according to the results obtained from the keyword selector tools findings.
You will use these keywords and key phrases in all titles, meta tags and content of your all your posts and on and in your website. Then, you must build a website. As a search engine optimisation services specialist or just applying effective search engine optimisation techniques, you need to know a little html to build a website.
Many people have self replicated websites. What you need to do is to right click on the website and to "View Source" on these self replicated websites to see the html that has been created to produce the website. This is another basic search engine optimisation technique.
I am not in favour of replicated websites as you cannot adjust the html in the back end of these websites. Most network marketing and MLM companies own and control the website and you therefore cannot adjust the html to ensure effective and efficient search engine optimisation of that website.
If you are in an MLM company or in some type of services organisation or a health product company or a company involved in those types of products, you need to answer one search engine optimisation question for yourself. What distinguishes you and your company self replicated website from all the other millions of companies and their self replicated websites on the internet?
What makes you think that your self replicated website is any different to those other companies? The answer is NOTHING! You need to know this fact as part of your search engine optimisation marketing campaign. Nothing makes you any different to any of those websites on the internet.
As much as I appreciate Veretekk and what it stands for and the immeasurable ways that it has helped me with my new search engine optimisation career and in many other areas, you need to create your own individual unique website for yourself that is different to anything else on the internet. Then apply the search engine optimisation techniques that I am teaching you. Let me emphasise that I am not a Webmaster. Let me repeat that, I am not a Webmaster.
I am definitely not knowledgeable and experienced enough to be classed as a Webmaster. I am a marketer and promoter of websites on the internet and I use search engine optimisation techniques that I have learnt, had experience with to promote and market business and personal websites on the internet. I am a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist which is completely different to the knowledge and skills needed to be a Webmaster.
Although I am not a Webmaster, I can build a search engine friendly website to result in effective search engine optimisation. I have many positions on the first page of Google and for that matter, to a lesser degree on Yahoo and MSN, for the keywords and keyword phrases that I use to promote those related websites.
As a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I use 'form codes' on these websites so that when people find and click on the website in Google or any other search engine they can place their contact details in the form code and the relationship is initiated.
As far as advertising things for "Free", I have steered away from that as a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist angle, as I think the internet is overwhelmed with too much "free" stuff at the moment. As a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I market. Note, I said market, I don't advertise. I market Veretekk on the internet as "Value" for money and show the benefits to the potential subscriber.
From a search engine optimisation or SEO perspective, advertising on the internet is dead. People are sick of it. You need to market and promote services and opportunities pointing out the benefits of what the subscriber can achieve for themselves from the sign up and not how it helps you.
People are not interested in all the advertising hype that is present on the internet. They are interested in contacting an honest and sincere person and initiating an honest and sincere business relationship with a person who can help them improve their business. Marketing is showing people benefits and services that will improve THEIR business NOT YOURS. Advertising is more selfish in that improves the advertiser's business more than it does the subscriber's business. This is the huge difference between advertising and marketing.
RSS feeds on a website are extremely powerful, from a search engine optimisation point of view, because they are always being updated automatically with new keyword rich content and that is what the spiders like. This results in your website being ranked higher on the search engines. So let’s discuss the power of RSS feeds as a search engine optimisation technique. There is a blog system that has been created by Tom and Mike on Veretekk called BlogFather. This is a blog system that anybody can signup for at no cost.
Blogging is an essential and critical part of search engine optimisation to create unique content, every day, pointing to the website that you want to get to the first page of the search engines. You can setup an RSS feed from your BlogFather in Veretekk onto all your websites and in all of your Veretekk systems.
Why is that important for you from a search engine optimisation viewpoint? You never want to have a static website. If your website remains static on the internet you will be at a disadvantage right from the moment you place it on the internet. A static website or a self replicated website, both are the same, where the members of that website's program don't now enough about search engine optimisation will probably not make many changes to the website.
So what happens after a period of time, from a search engine optimisation angle, is that the search engine spider/s come and index that website, say every twenty six to thirty days. Every time those spiders come and index that website, they will find that no change in content has been made on the website. Making no content changes on a regular basis to your website is committing search engine optimisation suicide. So, the spiders see that website as dead. Eventually those spiders will fly past that website and ignore it, as the content never changes on it. That search engine could also knock that website off the internet completely.
If you have watched the Google search engine really closely you will have noticed that they go through a house cleaning process all the time. If your websites are dead, they will be dropped off the index spider list and that is again, search engine optimisation suicide. You will think it is live, but it is not. The aspect to remember here is to always change the content of your website.
RSS feeds do that. So from a search engine optimisation stand point go and grab the RSS feed from BlogFather in the Veretekk system and place it on your websites. However, placing an RSS feed in a website is not the only key. As a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I know that you have to consistently post to your blog day in and day out, without fail.
The content you create for your posts must be SEO friendly in that it must be good original content and keyword focussed. From a search engine optimisation stance these keywords and keyword phrases must be in the title and content of all your posts. If you have a BlogFather RSS feed on your website and you are not posting to that Blog every day, you are not changing the content on the website.
So the spiders will still see it as a dead site. From a search engine optimisation outlook keep that content fresh on a daily basis. Posting more than once a day to the blog is even better. What will happen when you follow this search engine optimisation advice? Your website will eventually get first page ranking on the Google search engine and many other search engines as well.
Capture other blog RSS feeds from Blogs such as Blogger.com, Bloglines.com and MySpace. MySpace Blog is owned by Google. MySpace blogs get very good recognition from the Google spiders. So from a search engine optimisation outlook go and capture RSS feed from many blogs and place them on your websites. Use everything that you can get hold of on the internet to change your content on your website on a regular daily basis. This is good search engine optimisation practice and it works. Let me tell you about something that is real easy to do.
Start writing keyword specific content for a website or for a blog. Remember that everything you write, from a search engine optimisation position, be it a forum post, blog, article or press release will add content to the website that you want to promote to the top of the search engines. Go to the press release service 'free-press-release.com' which is the press release service I use all the time to ensure my search engine optimisation success.
You can also use 'PRweb.com', or 'PRLog.org'. These services are all free and obviously will not cost you a cent at any time. Can you imagine how powerful it would be, from a search engine optimisation outlook, if you wrote forty keyword rich effective Press Releases announcing your website. Remember, your content must not advertise anything which is another good search engine optimisation tip to remember at all times.
People are sick and tired of adverts selling them something on the internet. Be very clear and don't advertise. Advertising doesn't work and is dead on the internet. You are executing a search engine optimisation campaign to market (not advertise) your website and must therefore write for the search engine spiders only and not for the people who eventually read your content.
This might sound off target but I know, from a search engine optimisation stance, that it is one hundred percent on target. If you took any website and choose any keyword category and wrote forty effective keyword rich press releases, which is a vital search engine optimisation strategy, there is no doubt in my mind that you will land a very good position on the Google search engine.
If you wrote ten press releases say on one keyword category and then moved over to another keyword category and again wrote another ten press releases all about your website, I know that you would have very high Google search engine ranking. One of the most powerful things you can do as a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist or looking at this from a search engine optimisation point of view, is to write press releases about or pointing to your website. Be very focussed initially.
Go after one good set of keywords when you start your search engine optimisation campaign. To be a little more specific about what you are doing from a search engine optimisation angle and to choose the correct keywords and keyword phrases that people are using as search terms, use the keyword selector tool called 'goodkeywords.com'. This is what I use as my keyword selector tool for all my search engine optimisation campaigns. Again, it is absolutely free and it will give relevant keyword searches that people will actually type in the Google search engine search window or box for specific information that they are looking for.
This is a very good keyword selector tool specifically designed for search engine optimisation. Use it to capture your keywords and keyword phrases to point to your website when people use them in their searches. This will be focussed search engine optimisation and will reduce the time it will take you, dramatically, to get first page ranking on the Google search engine for your website.
Don't think that you know what a good keyword is, because you don't. When you first begin your search engine optimisation campaign you need to go after a relatively small keyword category. A relatively small search result on the Google search engine would be one to ten millions results for a keyword or keyword phrase search.
From a search engine optimisation approach you wouldn't want to choose 'home based business' and hope to get first page ranking and maintain it there. That would take you at least six months of continuous search engine optimisation focussed work. You need to follow the following search engine optimisation procedure when conducting a search engine optimisation marketing campaign if you want to be effective and successful.
Access the keyword selector tool goodkeywords.com. Find the relevant keyword term or phrase that you want placed on the first page of the Google search engine. Then start writing press releases at free-press-release.com or at the other press release services that I have already mentioned, using fresh keyword rich focussed specific content. One thing that I have noticed from a search engine optimisation outlook is that people will use press releases to advertise their business, product, service or opportunity.
This is completely the wrong approach. As I have said before, people are sick and tired of being advertised to in order to be sold something. People are looking for good information about aspects that can help them build an effective, profit creating successful business. This is called relationship marketing and is an important key to successful search engine optimisation.
Veretekk teaches relationship marketing better than anybody else. We are all tired of being marketed to. As a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I seen and experienced the usual rubbish like make $10 000 a week immediately. You don't have to do any work and they will make you rich. The usual lie that has given this wonderful world of internet marketing and search engine optimisation a bad name and left many people with the wrong idea and has also left many people disappointed and broke.
As a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I have noticed a huge trend on the internet, which is as follows. A person will join a program. The reason they joined the program is that maybe their neighbour or network marketing friend asked them to join. This person would produce the usual hype of getting into the program as quick as possible because they and the person will make a lot of money. The person joins the program and they are given a replicated website. This is a mistake from a search engine optimisation standpoint.
They punch in the person's name, email address and phone number on that website and the person thinks that the money will now start rolling in. This will never happen as that person does not have a clue about the network marketing and internet world. Also from a search engine optimisation perspective that replicated website is dead and won’t be seen on the internet. That person does not know where to start, at all. My point from a search engine optimisation angle is that do you know exactly what your program is about. You will be surprised as to how many people join programs and haven't the faintest idea as to what their program is about or how it works.
This is obviously so wrong and lacks common sense, amongst other basic instincts. If you do not belong to a program that you believe in and that has a good product or service, you are wasting your time and money. Don't even bother starting a search engine optimisation marketing campaign to promote that product, service or website. The replicated websites that most of these programs have are dead from a search engine optimisation point of view. They leave it up to you to advertise and as I said before, advertising on the internet is dead on the internet and doesn't work.
Classifieds ads are good for building back links but they are not totally effective for search engine optimisation. So what you have to do is learn what your program is about. Learn to talk to people about it. The ideal situation is to have people phoning or contacting you after they have seen your website which you have marketed through the application of search engine optimisation techniques.
People need to have a good feeling about doing business with you. This leads to relationships, sales and profits in that order. Effective and efficient search engine optimisation will achieve that for you. A top position on the Google search engine achieved through the application of the search engine optimisation techniques that I am showing you here, will not automatically generate any sales or profit at all.
The reason for this is that if you do not do your homework and make your website comfortable from a search engine optimisation stand point, which means good information and content, that website will be useless as a marketing tool. Comfortable does not mean a flashy website full of little fancy gimmicks. That does not give people information to improve their businesses or to solve a business related challenge.
The information has to be clear from a search engine optimisation viewpoint and better still, it needs to help them solve a problem. As a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I know that you need to create this focussed keyword rich content and information on a personal level. The aim here from a search engine optimisation angle is to make the person feel comfortable with you and your business, services and or product through your website.
Let the readers of the content on your website know that you are a real person doing business on the internet. A good search engine optimisation technique is to build an "About Me" page on your website. This is a very important part of marketing on the internet because people are not going to do business with you if they don't know who you are and have no reason to trust you. So it is very important, search engine optimisation wise, to do this.
For example, if you are marketing Veretekk then you are assisting people with services and tools, through the Veretekk system, to help them promote their online and offline businesses. So, to summarise, the search engine optimisation step by step promoting process which I have been discussing at length. One. Buy a domain. Two. Build your website. Three. Place the url that you are promoting in your website. Four. Write press releases for and about your business, services and products that are detailed on your website.
You can, however, make the press releases that you write for search engine optimisation marketing purposes more effective. After you have written your press release, take the basic information or content from that press release and move it over to an Ezine article. Add another paragraph or two of focussed keyword rich content to that press release to create the longer Ezine article.
An example of a good, free to join and use, Ezine article company is Ideamarketers.com. This will make your search engine optimisation marketing campaign more effective and powerful. Ideamarketer.com articles will pop up on the first page of the Google search engine after a few weeks (on average). They will stay there for a long time. From a search engine optimisation perspective, press releases announce your website quickly and your press releases arrive on the first page of the Google search engine after three to five days (on average).
Ezine articles on the other hand are written to support your press release. They take longer to get to the first page of the Google search engine but once they land there, they will stay there for much longer than the press release. This is another important search engine optimisation technique. The Ezine articles that you write in support of your press releases need to be more personal.
Press releases are not personal and are written in third person. From a search engine optimisation and marketing point of view, make the content of your Ezine articles more personal. The additional paragraph and subsequently the whole Ezine document, which is the extension of your press release, will be seen by the Google search engine spiders as completely new content.
This is another critical search engine optimisation technique. Just by adding a paragraph or two of keyword rich content to your Ezine article will be seen by the search engine spiders as totally unique content, Your press release will also be seen by the search engine spiders as unique content. This is powerful and effective search engine optimisation.
This search engine optimisation technique is completely legitimate because you are not copying and pasting content at all. You are giving good relevant information in this ezine article, taken from your press release aand you are adding additional relevant specific content at the end of the article as well. If you apply this search engine optimisation technique to your press releases and your subsequent artciles you will be practicing effective SEO.
There is another very good article submission company on the internet that is very effective in placing your search engine optimised articles on the first page of the Google search engine. The company's name is ezinearticles.com. It is free to join and free to post as many articles as you want. Here is a way that you can test yourself to see if you are a good search engine optimisation article writer.
Set up an account with Ezinearticles.com. Post you first SEO effective article. What will happen is that ezinearticles.com will test you. That first article will take anywhere from seven to ten days to be approved. If you have written a good original article from a search engine optimisation standpoint, which is all about original keyword specific content, then ezinearticles.com will approve your article and submit/post it for you.
However, you will still be under scrutiny from ezinearticles.com. Once you as a search engine optimisation specialist get to a certain level of article writing with ezinearticles.com, which means you need to write ten good original search engine optimised keyword focussed articles, they will then grade you as a Platinum Author. So, I hear you saying… big deal. It is a big deal from a search engine optimisation perspective. They will give you a banner to place on your own personal website and an RSS feed that will contain all the Ezine articles that you post at all times to ezinearticles.com.
Now thinking about what I have taught you so far about search engine optimisation and emphasised to you that the internet is about content, keywords and links, how powerful would it be for you to have a page like that with all your articles and links in it. The answer is .... IMMENSLEY POWERFUL! This is one hundred percent effective, efficient and successful search engine optimisation of your website at its best.
If you want success with the search engine optimisation marketing campaign of your website or with your SEO Clients as a professional search engine optimisation services specialist then you need to apply all the techniques I have been teaching you and will teach you in the future. This will lead you to search If you want search engine optimisation success then HERE IT IS! How many people will take advantage of my search engine optimisation knowledge and my step for step procedure that I offer for free, here in these articles?
How many people will actually study these search engine optimisation techniques and go and DO THE WORK? Who has the perseverance to write blog posts, forum posts, articles and press releases, all search engine optimised with unique original keyword rich content and titles, day after day, month after month, year in and year out? I will answer that for you. 0,5% of the people that have been exposed to my search engine optimisation techniques and practical experience. There is no instant process in effective successful search engine optimisation. There is no software package that will do it for you.
You have to do it and it is continuous work that will get you your first page rankings on the Google search engine. No matter what fantastic SEO program you bought or automated submission service that you use, those so called "quick" search engine optimisation solutions will not get you top positions on the Google search engine. I know this as a professional search engine optimisation services specialist myself. There are no SEO shortcuts at all. Do the work yourself.
What you want to do in an Ezine article and a press release as well, is to make sure that the title of your articles are keyword rich and specifically focussed on the category you want your website to land on in the Google search engine. Your website title is extremely important in the search engine optimisation process. So the more keyword specific that you are in your press release and in your articles titles and content of course, the more accurate you will be with your website landing in the appropriate search categories that you want it to land in. From a search engine optimisation position, the title of your press release and Ezine article will determine to a large extent the category that your website will land in on the Google search engine. Be aware of the minimum number of words required in all your articles, requested by the article submission company that you subscribe to.
How do you write search engine optimised content? Write like you talk. Straight forward, simple, clear and ‘easy to understand’ content. No fancy highly complex words where the reader has to look up the meanings in a dictionary. Write like a human being and not like a dictionary. So, let me summarise the basic yet crucially important steps to follow in a search engine optimisation campaign.
SEO One. Don't try and promote an affiliate website given to you by your "opportunity" company because it won't work and your search engine optimisation efforts won’t be effective with it. SEO Two. Buy yourself a good domain name that includes the main keywords of your opportunity that you are marketing. SEO Three. Start branding yourself by placing your name on everything you write. SEO Four. Build a website. Don't build a fancy website. Use 'free page' in Veretekk to build your website, it's free. Create many of these ‘free pages’ and then daisy chain them together. Attend the 'Free Page' training sessions in the Veretekk system to learn how to do this and also the 'Linking' training.
SEO Five. Write press releases. Make sure you join a good press release company like freepressrelease.com. Use your press releases as announcements of your company and website and not as an advertisement. After you have written any articles from any submission program, take the unique link created by each article and manually submit it to the Google search engine. SEO Six. Get out of the 'advertising syndrome' as advertising on the internet has been practised to death and it no longer works. Provide people with good information that can help them solve problems and challenges in their businesses. SEO Seven. Back your press releases up or follow up your press releases with Ezine articles. Posts press releases and articles every day for the rest of your life.
SEO Eight. Start a blog at blogger.com or bloglines.com and post to that blog every day for the rest of your life. SEO Nine. Obtain RSS feeds for continuous live updated content change and place them on the websites that you build. That’s the summary of effective and successful basic yet critically important search engine optimisation techniques. You will be amazed at your progress as a search engine optimisation services specialist or practitioner. This won't happen instantly but after a few months you will realise for yourself, practically, that what I have taught and will teach you, WORKS.
If you are have recently lost your conventional job due to retrenchment, ill health or for any other reason, you can learn the art of search engine optimisation and use that skill to create an income for yourself online. You can then create and maintain first page rankings for websites of people and clients that you negotiate with. These people will then pay you a fee to do this for them.
Negotiate through meetings and interviews and initiate SEO contracts with these people and you have a work at home business that is very lucrative and will pay the bills. Working on the internet is a great way to live. The great thing that you will find about an internet career is that there is an unlimited untapped resource that you and anybody can utilise to your and their benefit.
If you had one hundred million people who were all full time professional search engine optimisation services specialists helping to promote and market other peoples or clients websites on the internet, it would still be a wide open career and there would still be sufficient work for everyone to make a good living. This is the great part about you becoming a professional SEO specialist.
Search engine optimisation is a great work at home business. It is ideally suited for people who are tired of the corporate life and want to spend more time with themselves and their families. You can watch your children growing up and be part of the joy of sharing life with your children and spouse at all times.
Details have been given about all the various SEO techniques such as writing good original keyword specific press releases, articles, forum posts and blog posts, but we still need to get to the real core meaning of what search engine optimisation is and what it can do for business and how it can affect your business if you do not know anything about it. So let us discuss what it is and also what it is not.
What is SEO? SEO is an art. This means that you need to think at all times of all different kinds of keywords and keyword phrases to satisfy the needs of the search engine spiders. You need to think like a search engine spider. You need to learn how to do this in order to get your websites listed on the first page of the Google search engine. As an example, let us assume that you are promoting a website about leads. The term leads is a muti billion dollar industry.
If you do intensive research you will find the same result. Companies or people that are on the first page of the Google search engine for the keyword term 'leads' are in it for the money. There is no doubt about that. The company holding the number one position has been holding the ‘leads’ top spot ranking for a long time. If you start an SEO campaign promoting your 'leads' website and eventually also get listed on the first page of Google, the effort of consistently posting content, titles and original content about the keyword 'leads' will land you in the 'leads' search category of around two hundred million search results.
How do you get the search term 'leads' to the first page of Google? It is not a great secret. It is not a mystery. It is an art to get it here. You will have to work at this art to perfect it as much as possible and to be successful using it. This is not something that will just pop up automatically without you putting effort into it to make sure that it works.
How many people have bought a software program that promised to do everything for them? Promises like 'we will drive motivated traffic to your website', 'you do not have to do a single thing, we will do it all for you', 'just pay the $300 and you will get instantaneous traffic to your website'. How many people have fallen for all that rubbish? The answer is many. How many people have fallen for the line 'we will get you one million motivated visitors to your website for $29.95’? Any person or company that makes exaggerated claims like that need to be severely punished because these types of people are nothing but 'hype'.
While we are on the topic of 'hype' you need to be aware about the 'hype' around the keyword term or phrase "search engine optimisation”. Do you realise that there are so many so called search engine optimisation companies and individuals on the internet and off line that are charging good people incredible amounts of money and providing absolutely no service. As an example, there has been a person who paid a company $18000 to market two websites for him on the internet.
This company promised him that they would get a massive amount of people coming to his business as a result of them marketing his website online. This company did not provide a detailed step by step procedure of how they were going to achieve that goal. The company stated that they were 'just going to do it'. You need to know what questions to ask an individual or company claiming to be search engine optimisation specialists.
Companies and people claiming to be SEO specialists and who are in fact only scam artists whose sole aim is to rob people of their money make the legitimacy of genuine sincere and honest search engine optimisation specialists’ efforts very difficult. People get a bad taste about the entire internet because they got 'ripped off' and so they approach everybody with scepticism, including the honest internet marketers and SEO specialists. There are also many credible and legitimate SEO companies and individuals on the internet.
What can you expect from a top position on Google? Do you think for one minute that a top position on Google is going to make you rich? The answer is no, it will not. If people do not sign up for your program after clicking on your link which is on the first page of Google, you obviously will not make money and become rich. You need to realise that effective successful SEO, which results in a first page ranking on the Google search engine does not automatically mean that you or your company will make sales.
From a search engine optimisation specialist point of view a top position on the search engines gives you 'bragging' rights. A top position also shows you that you are getting results. This boosts your confidence because these results also prove that you are going about the procedure the correct way. To achieve SEO results and to know how to market successfully on the internet you need to follow specific guidelines, rules, procedures and techniques that have already been already detailed and discussed.
The way to achieve results is to make keyword specific titles and include those same specific keywords and keyword phrases in the original content that you write. Write a press release, article, forum post and blog post every day and hand submit the url created for each of those posts to the Google search engine. Do this every day for the rest of your life and you will achieve a first page ranking on the Google search engine. That is it. Those are the basics. There are other techniques which will be detailed and discussed but the basics will get you top positions on the search engines.
Another powerful SEO technique as mentioned before are RSS feeds. If you are not placing RSS feeds on your website, obviously choose feeds from all over the internet that discuss the same content as your website, then you need to do so. RSS feeds can place you in so many different categories just by being on your webpage or website. These RSS feeds are so absolutely powerful that there is no telling or prediction where they will place your website. That is what you want to achieve. You want to have your website or the posts about your website, placed in all sorts of different categories on the internet for people to access your link and to then be exposed to the information about your business, product and or service.
The best way to create a powerful RSS feed is to sing up or join a professional and reputable free blogging service. Then use the RSS feed that the company automatically creates for your content and your blog and then place that RSS feed on your website. Remember to keep posting to your blog in order to have unique content always being shown through the related RSS feed on your website.
Why does search engine optimisation work. There is only one thing or reason as to why SEO works. Great keyword specific original content headed by the same keyword specific titles. If you are going to market goods and services on the internet (note the word 'market' not advertise), it does not matter what these products services or goods are, you need to give people solutions to their business problems by showing them that by using your business services and products it will produce those benefits and solutions for them.
The point here is that you have got to write if you want to market your business on the internet. If you do not know how to write you need to learn. So how do you learn how to write? It is very simple. Talk into a microphone, record it, then as you listen to your recording you write your words down. Write like you speak. The more that you write the easier it becomes and then you can write even more and your style of writing improves.
Do not put on airs and graces. Do not write that you are an expert when you are not. When you do become an expert in your chosen field then you can write and inform people about it. Keep your writing simple, honest, sincere and direct and people will trust you and therefore do business with you. Once you start appearing on the internet because of your writing and you start achieving first page ranking on the search engines and achieve notoriety, then you have accomplished 'bragging' rights. Write and tell people about your notoriety achievements.
This is important and you should do this because you have reached the point where you are on the crest of the wave of becoming a successful internet business person. This point of search engine optimisation and the key to effective SEO is writing great content. Nothing more and nothing less. However do not make the mistake of grabbing other peoples content, word for word, 'copying and pasting' it and then authorising it or passing it off as your own content, giving no credit or reference in that post to the real author.
Copying and pasting other authors work is identified immediately by all search engines and you will then be banned from the search engines. This means that the search engine spiders will not visit any of your content again and it will take a long time for you to get back onto the search engines. The whole point of SEO is to get top search engine rankings, especially on Google, for a particular keyword or keyword phrase. It is all about a person searching for information on the internet by using the search box in a search engine.
They type in the keyword or keyword phrase that you have also researched and found to be popular. The person opens up the search engine which always exposes the first page and there in front of them is your title containing the keywords of your content which will point to your website. The person clicks on it, reads it because it is good original, non advertising benefit focussed value driven information and you have a great chance of that person signing up into your business to buy your product or service.
How do you keep people interested and to keep reading your information? You have to provide them with benefits and solutions to their business related challenges by ensuring or proving to them that your product and or service will provide them with those benefits and or solutions. You need to give people something of value for them to take a look at. If your content is a bunch of 'hype' with no value, people will click off your website and look elsewhere on the internet for that value.
Use autoresponders to ensure people receive updated value driven content once they show interest in signing up in your business or using your products and or services. Autoresponders have the potential to make you a lot of money if you set them up using the correct SEO based principles already explained as your foundation.
When you first starting building search engine optimised websites you probably think that they need to be flashy and contain all sorts of little gimmicks. In all actuality they do not. The most effective and successful websites that you can create and place on the internet are those that only contain content. That is all. People are looking for content that provides them with information of value that will improve their business. They are not interested or look for fancy flashes or pretty websites.
This is the reason why blogs are so powerful. They are full of content. Remember SEO is not about making sales. It is about getting first page positions for your website on the search engines and then getting the traffic to related websites as a result of people searching and finding your website or post containing your website, clicking on it and eventually joining your business and buying your product or service.
Marketing online, which includes search engine optimisation, is like rolling dice. Sometimes you 'hit it' and some times you do not. You need to develop a bulldog mentality and you need to learn to never quit. Keep going no matter who says what because you know that in the final analysis of building a business on the internet, it takes this fierce determination perseverance, self belief, self discipline and emotional toughness and maturity to eventually succeed. You have to develop a 'never quit' mentality.
In your online business, as with every aspect in our personal lives, you are going to have "ups and downs". You will have times where you are on the brink of giving up and are thinking of getting a conventional 'job'. The interesting and contradictory thing about this when it happens to you, is that you might be right. Remember the next phone call that you make or receive could change that 'giving up emotion' immediately and put you on a 'business high'.
This can all happen in a flash. Just at the time you are ready to quit, you make a sale. Just persist a little longer when you get to that stage in your business career on the internet and see what happens. The more often you experience these 'downs' and pull yourself out of them the more positive and confident you will become about your business succeeding. Develop the bulldog mentality that there is no one or no incident on the planet that will stop you achieving online business success.

I am not here to take your money, I am here to get you results which are creating and maintaining a first page ranking for your business website on the Google search engine. I am not here to make you sales but I will get you results on the search engines.
It is necessary at this stage to re-emphasise and point out the importance of search engine optimisation by discussing the following aspects which are, what is SEO, what it can do for your business (here I will give some examples of some prime search engine optimisation SEO projects that are taking place on the internet and making many people a lot of money) and is search engine optimisation SEO a valid professional career to pursue.
Search engine traffic or traffic on high traffic keyword areas is essential to your business. To understand the validity of the term SEO you will need to type certain keywords into the Google search box. Let us type in the keywords "home interiors and gifts". This keyword phrase is actually quite heavily searched on the search engines. If you scroll down the page results for this keyword phrase you will see the 4th result with a title tag of ‘Home Interiors and Gifts-Debbie Hamilton’.
Let me explain how this position was achieved by an experienced search engine optimisation SEO services specialist. On the Home Interiors and Gifts website belonging to Debbie Hamilton she had the capability of buying the website for about $20 a month. When buying that website she gets to pick her own sub directory name. Debbie then approached a professional credited experienced search engine optimisation SEO services specialist for some advice and help.
She wanted to know what name or title to give her website that she purchased. She thought that her name ‘Debbie Hamilton’ would be a good keyword phrase for the title of her website. Well it's a great name but as far as the search engines are concerned, it means nothing and is totally ineffective from a search engine ranking of her website. So what do you think the search engine optimisation SEO services specialist called the subdirectory for Debbie's website?
You can choose any subdirectory that is available. How about 'Home Interiors’. That is what was chosen. However, you cannot promote home interiors with article submissions, forum posts, blog posts, press releases or with any content submission service, as it is totally against their policy and procedures. Nevertheless, since Debbie bought the website from Home Interiors and had the option to tag that sub directory, the search engine optimisation SEO services specialist tagged it "Home Interiors".
So guess what happened. The search engine optimisation SEO specialist created a re-direct and masked the domain 'debbiehamilton.com' to the title "Home Interiors and Gifts" and within a week of doing this and manually submitting it to the search engines, the title tag popped up on the first page of the Google search engine, for this keyword term "Home Interiors and Gifts". Now this is interesting because this is a very successful website.
When you begin to look at the way to effectively approach website construction on the internet and to get first page ranking on the search engines you will realise that by choosing the correct keywords and title and by tagging the title and domain correctly you will succeed in getting those results. If you build a good keyword specific website you may not have to promote that website at all from a search engine optimisation SEO viewpoint.
Websites have been built by experienced search engine optimisation SEO services specialists where all they did was to be very aware of the Title, Meta Tag Description, Keywords and Keyword Phrases and relevant and Original Content. These factors together are the key to successful, effective and efficient search engine optimisation and they will achieve high ranking on the search engines. This approach is essential to promoting your website on the internet. It is that simple.
If you choose a great keyword specific title and a good specific Meta tag description of about one to two sentences, describing the title and the content of your website and you pick highly popular effective keywords and keyword phrases and you write good keyword specific articles and posts promoting your website, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you WILL succeed. Your website will eventually surface to the top of that keyword category on the search engines.
How long will it take before it gets to the top? How much effort and work will you need to put in to get that top position? This will depend on the quality of the content you have in your website and the content you write and place in your related articles, blog posts, forum posts and press release submission posts that promote your website. The quality of the content that you write is what gets you top positions on the search engines.
For example. Take ten websites that have been built by different people. All ten websites would eventually land up in ten different keyword categories, even if all ten people were chasing after the same keywords, keyword phrases and keyword category. Why? People do not pay attention to the specific ways to get top positions on the search engines on the internet. By emphasising the correct title, Meta tag description and keywords it sounds really simple to achieve.
Actually, it is very simple but you need to place that good original effective keyword specific content on that website, otherwise you do not stand a chance of achieving top ranked positions on the search engines. That's the whole key. Pay attention to the details when marketing effectively on the internet. The way to look at the internet is to study presentations and websites and to realise that it is nothing more than submitting keyword specific articles. This is what a website is.
A website is a keyword specific article promoting and marketing a product or service. You need to cultivate the mentality of becoming a "Spider Food Writer". Become a 'spider writer'. Everything you study and everything that you research as far as gaining top search engine positions is all dependent directly upon the quality of the content that you write. You can take a domain that is totally irrelevant and put that website at the top of a keyword category anywhere if that domain has "aged".
If you have a domain that is at least 6 months to a year old or older you can literally take that domain and you can work to place that website at the top of any keyword category that you want. Initially when you buy a domain you want to be keyword specific to the product that your website will promote market and sell. Once those or your domain begins the aging process, which usually takes 6 months to one year, you can put them at the top of any keyword category that you want.
So it is a blending of the choice of domain as well as the keyword category that you are going after. For example. If you are promoting a 'free marketing system' then look for and buy a domain name that is 'freemarketingsystem.com'. RSS feeds need not be keyword rich though. I have a blog that I use for any topic or content. The content of the posts in my blog are not the same as the title of my blog. Any search engine optimisation SEO client that I have, I write specific keyword rich content for that client and I place it in my blog.
Blogs are more powerful if you continuously have content coming into them, irrespective of the subject of the content. So the whole concept of RSS feeds is not driven by keyword specificity because it is driven by the volume of content coming into that blog or submission service (e.g. a forum). I might put a blog link or a blog feeder reader on a website that has nothing to do with the subject content of the website. This doesn’t matter because the RSS feed still changes the content on that website from a Spider's point of view.
That's what counts, do what the search engine spiders like. The spiders are looking for a change in content irrespective of the subject of the content. So don’t be concerned about the subject that the RSS feed is updating, just make sure that the submission service that the RSS feed is pointing to is always receiving more content volume all the time and then place that RSS feed on any website you like.
The more that I study, research test and observe SEO on the internet the more it leads me to believe that marketing effectively to the search engines is very easy. However, most people are not willing to write the content to achieve SEO success. Many people assimilate the search engine optimisation SEO knowledge in their minds but they lack dramatically the actual work or process of putting the knowledge into motion through action.
As a professional search engine optimisation SEO services specialist I can place all my knowledge on the internet, like I am doing now with this content but until people realise that they need to make the conscious decision to begin the process by taking action, all this information and training is totally wasted. I see most people in training classes, I am referring to the Veretekk VereConference training classes, have a tendency to join the training and then turn on the recording of the class and then walk away.
They come back when it is over, stop the recording and then never listen, learn or apply what the training has taught them. They don’t take action. This same observation applies to most people on the internet as well. They get ready to get ready. This is a tendency throughout the Internet Marketing, MLM and Network Marketing Industry. People are planning to plan, to get ready to plan, but never get off their backsides and take proper action.
I know of a person that stated that they were working very hard to promote their website. So I asked the person for an example of what they were doing to promote and market their website. They said they were posting to Craig's List every day. Ok, that is effective. I asked if the person was posting keyword specific ads or were they just posting a "bunch of stuff" out onto the internet. The person stated that they did not know what a keyword specific ad was.
I asked if they had their own blog that they were also posting to on a regular basis. The answer was no, they didn’t have a blog, but they were intending to setup a blog soon. I asked if they had written any press releases promoting their website. The answer was no, they were also planning on doing that soon. So in fact many months had gone by and this person had done nothing. Action taken on the internet is positive from a search engine optimisation SEO standpoint.
No action leads to no productivity and no results. You can build a website that is not constructed properly and does not have the correct elements in it. However, if you have a good idea of what you are doing you will end up marketing that website correctly from a search engine optimisation SEO point of view. There is one fact for sure, if you do nothing, you will achieve nothing. There are many people who think that they cannot write good content.
If you are afraid to write content because you are afraid that people will see what you are doing and that will embarrass you, I have a way for you to solve this misconception. Can you talk? Of course you can talk! Can you talk about your product or service? Buy a recorder, push the recording button on, talk about your product and or service, stop the recording when you are finished, play it back and write or transcript exactly what you talked about. You now have your written content.
If you have the thought and idea of what you want to do and you can talk about it, then you can write it down to create good content. So to answer the question about whether search engine optimisation SEO is a valid professional career to pursue and whether successful marketing on the internet is possible? Is search engine optimisation SEO something that can be learnt? Can you apply SEO to your own business effectively and successfully in the internet and make money doing this? The answer is a loud YES!
However, the key to this search engine optimisation SEO success is to use the correct title, Meta tag description, popular focussed keywords and keyword phrases and relevant and original content. Content is king on Google. You need to build your websites, build your blogs and build your forums, applying all these search engine optimisation SEO aspects detailed above. Basically, to gain top positions on the search engines, you want to move away from your human way of thinking.
You need to start thinking in keywords, only. Thinking in keyword specific content. A Meta tag description consists of a one or two keyword sentence that describes, in a keyword specific fashion, what your title and website is about. You also need to capitalise and use the correct punctuation in a Meta tag description. Quality content is showing people value and benefits of your product and or service. Also showing them that as a result of them purchasing your product and or service they will possess the solution to their existing and future business difficulties.
For example, if you were to write an article about business coaching and mentoring. An example of writing good quality content for this business coaching and mentoring in a post would be as follows; "The business coaching and mentoring that Joe Soap provides in the ABC Internet Marketing System leads to increased success in a home business on Google." In this Meta tag description I have the keywords or keyword phrase "business coaching and mentoring" in the first part of the Meta tag content.
Then I mention the person's name "Joe Soap". The last part of the Meta tag content states "success in a home business on Google". Always mention Google in your Meta tag description, in your keywords and in your content. This is very powerful because the Google spiders like to see their name. The keywords and keyword phrases that I would choose would therefore be as follows; 'business coaching and mentoring', 'business coaching', 'business sales training' and so on.
Keep in mind that when you are presenting your keywords and keyword phrases on the internet, that the search engine spiders will not go deeper than the first three keywords at the start of your keyword listing sentence. That is a general rule but there is always the possibility that the search engine spiders will go deeper than the first three words. So always make your power keywords the first three words in the sentence that lists your keywords.
You can have many keywords and phrases after the first three but the power keywords must be at the start of that sentence. When you are using these keywords you also want to always use your name as a keyword or keyword phrases as well. Always put your tag in as well. The Title, Meta tag description, keywords and keyword phrases and keyword specific content is applied when constructing the website in the backend section of your website.
This information must be applied by you or someone else who is the Webmaster of your website and is designing and creating your website. What I have heard on the internet about what works and what doesn’t work on the internet, as far as search engine optimisation SEO goes or what the SEO rules are supposed to be or not to be, is usually a lot of rubbish. The so called self proclaimed search engine optimisation SEO gurus in most instances haven’t a clue about what they are talking about when it comes to effective successful search engine optimisation.
Bold of me to state that but IT IS TRUE! I've been to many SEO forums and read a lot of SEO articles by so called SEO gurus on the so called rules of SEO and what to do and what not to do as a search engine optimisation SEO services specialist. I have investigated the authority of these self professed SEO gurus and find that most of them had no presence on the internet as SEO masters at all. How did I check their validity as SEO Masters to find out if they were the real deal?
I type their full names into the Google search box and see how many articles or posts would pop up that they had written in the correct search engine optimised way that I have described above. I would find very little from them and most of the time I would find no results. Their names don’t appear. The businesses that they are in or promoting does not feature in the results. The simplest approach you should have to ensure effective successful search engine optimisation is to write good original focussed keyword specific content promoting and marketing your website.
That's it. It is that simple. All these so called gurus make it so complicated. It is not complicated, it is easy. The internet is a wide open ball game. The best way to approach it is to consistently place content in a keyword specific manner. That is the way to gain top positions on the search engines. So, go write a "bunch of stuff". Test my training and teaching here and go write some content. See what happens and then contact me to tell me what kind of results you have achieved.
